I’m Joseph Chism. I live in Ocean Isle Beach and build websites for small businesses along the North and South Carolina coast.

I spent about 18 years in IT support, most recently as a Senior IT Support Specialist looking after more than 150 users at a manufacturer. Since 2012 I’ve also run my own online businesses, Hiteck Hobbies and DiecastModeler.com, managing thousands of products along with the domains, hosting, email and websites behind them.

That combination is why I started OIBWeb. I know how websites work under the hood, and I know what it’s like to be the owner who needs one to bring in customers. When you call, you talk to me, not an account manager.

Before all that I served in the U.S. Air Force as a CH-3 helicopter crew chief, where you get the job done right or the aircraft doesn’t fly. I still work that way.
